Sisterhood
BWIT pairs participants with mentors who provide guidance, support, and positive role modeling. Mentors serve as a source of
inspiration, offering personal and professional advice to help participants achieve their goals. Each Black Woman In Training will also benefit from the comradery built amongst their peers.

Group Discussion
Mentor led group discussions are a fundamental part of the BMIT collective as a whole. They serve as a great way for youth to build strong lifelong bonds with mentors, peers, and even community supporters. Our youth take part in many in-depth conversations that bring a since of self, while also giving them a safe space to unload.

Women Empowerment
BWIT seeks to cultivate a strong sense of self-
worth and confidence among participants, encouraging them to embrace their identities as young Black women and recognize their inherent strength and potential.
