Program Structure


 
BWIT's program structure is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for young Black women to develop their skills, knowledge, and resilience.


The program may include the following components:

1. Workshops and Seminars:

Regular workshops and seminars cover a wide range of topics, including self-esteem, leadership development, health and wellness,

financial literacy, and personal safety.


2. Mentoring and Role Models:

BWIT pairs participants with mentors who provide guidance, support, and positive role modeling. Mentors serve as a source of

inspiration, offering personal and professional advice to help participants achieve their goals.


3. Academic Support:

The program provides academic resources, tutoring services, and study groups to promote educational success and encourage 

participants to excel in their academic pursuits.


4. Community Service:

BWIT encourages participants to engage in community service projects, enabling them to make a positive impact in their communities, while

fostering a sense of social responsibility.

5. Networking and Career Development:

BWIT facilitates networking opportunities with successful Black women professionals, organizing career panels, internships, and

mentorship programs to inspire and guide participants toward their future career aspirations.
