Utilizing Statistics on Black Women

To create a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by Black women, BWIT incorporates relevant statistics on violence and

single mother households in America. By highlighting these issues, the program seeks to empower participants with knowledge and awareness,

while also providing them with tools and resources to address these challenges effectively.

1. Violence Against Black Women:

BWIT educates participants on the statistics related to violence against Black women, including domestic violence, sexual assault, and homicide rates. This knowledge helps raise awareness about the need for personal safety, community support, and the importance of fostering healthy relationships.

2. Single Mother Households:

BWIT acknowledges the prevalence of single mother households within the Black community. By addressing the specific challenges faced by young Black women in these circumstances, the program offers support, resources, and guidance to empower them as they navigate their unique experiences.
